Eco-friendly bamboo pen. This pen is considered eco-friendly because its barrel is made of bamboo. Bamboo is a fast-growing plant and is easily biodegradable. Thus, products made of bamboo are considered friendly for the environment. Other parts of the pen are made of polylactide – an environmentally friendly polymer derived from corn starch. This type of plastic is 100% obtained from plants and can be decomposed in the soil within 1-3 years.
